Meet Our Trainers
Personal Trainers
MIKE
BODGE: Mike has over 20 years of fitness experience, including
certification from ACE (American Council on Exercise) and
ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine). He is an expert
in strength, flexibility and cardiovascular training. He is
a firm believer that fitness will improve all aspects and
quality of your life. The keys to success in fitness training
are motiviation, education, safety, and fun! Mike enjoys cycling,
running, weight-training, music and the movies.
MARK
SANCHEZ: Mark
is an NASM ( National Academy of Sports Medicine) Certified
Personal Trainer. He developed his love for fitness through
many years of dancing with various groups in the bay area.Aside
from dancing he enjoys hiking, biking, running, rock climbing
and being outdoors. His ultimate goal is to travel the world
and share his love for dance. He wants to help people realize
that working out and staying active doesn't have to be a burden,
rather it's something that can be enjoyed and used to improve
many aspects of life.
GABRIEL
JOHNSON : Gabriel is certified by NASM ( National Academy
of Sports Medicine). While studying Physiology in college
he was a swim coach for 5 years. He also worked as an EMT
before starting his career as a Personal Trainer. He enjoys
tailoring workouts to fit people of all ages whethe postural
alignment, rehabilitation or athletic training is needed.
He shares his love of exercise and life with all of his clients.
He is an avid surfer, mountain biker, runner, hiker, snowboarder
and has competed in trathlon and numerous competitive runs.
MARY BODGE:
Mary is certified through ACE (American Council on Exercise).
Prior to opening Body Zone, she operated a personal training
business in Santa Cruz and Scotts Valley. She enjoys helping
people set and meet their goals and has a special interest
in nutrition. Besides work, she enjoys spending time with
her children (and Mike!), weight lifting, being outdoors,
cooking, reading, and the movies.

HEATHER
LINN: Heather completed her training to become
an Aerobics Instructor & Weight Training Specialist
at the South Brisbane Technical & Further Education
at Tehe College of Australia in 1997.Over the next two years,
she became a Certified Spinning, Yoga and aqua Exercise
Instructor. Finally in 2000 heather, she received her certification
as a Certified Personal Trainer through the Australian Network
for Fitness Professionals. Once she moved to the U.s, heather
also completed all certifications here including the requrements
to register with the Yoga Alliance of America as a
Registered Yoga Teacher. Heather believes that "variety
is the spice of life" and is a key component to successfully
enhoying & continuing any exercise program, bringing
strength to the mind and body. She enjoys hiking, camping,
rock climbing, exploring caves, mortorcycling with her husband
and playing with her 3 labs & 2 cats.
Rafael
Garibay: Rafael graduated from California State University
Fresno in 2007 with a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology.
He chose this field so that he could help people reach their
health goals. He enjoys working out and has recently started
bicycling for recreation and extra exercise. Rafael is bi-lingual
to help out Apanish speaking members and guests.
